As a church we are committed to the sanctity of marriage as designed by God and declared in His Word (Gen 2:21-25; Matthew 19:4-6; 1 Corinthians 7:1-16; Ephesians 5:25-33; Hebrews 13:4). (See also the ELDERS STATEMENT ON MARRIAGE). Therefore, we desire to uphold God’s design for marriage by making sure every couple inquiring from us understands what God says about marriage and understands the seriousness of the covenant of marriage. Marriage is not something to be taken lightly. We stand enthusiastically and encouragingly behind all those seeking to form a godly union, whether members of Cornerstone Church or not. Any facilities leased or owned by Cornerstone Church may only be used to perform weddings for Cornerstone Church members in good standing.

A wedding is, first and foremost, worship of the God who calls man and woman together in marriage. Recognizing this will help you as you plan your ceremony and will give you a clear vision of what the service should be. We also stand for certain policies that apply to all wishing to be married by Cornerstone Church.
